Earlier, the railway crossing at Motichoor was a constant risk and delay point for both vehicles and pedestrians. Accidents involving cattle and even people were frequent. The construction of a dedicated underpass not only improved connectivity between Line Paar and Haripur Kalan but also enhanced safety, increased land value, and ensured smooth movement for emergency vehicles like ambulances.
A total of 27 kilometers of sewage line and road construction was completed under Geetanjali Ji’s tenure. Earlier, broken roads and open drains made everyday life difficult. With planned underground sewage and fully paved pakki roads in almost every street, Haripur Kalan now walks on clean, strong foundations — quite literally.
Understanding the importance of creating spaces for women, a Community Bhawan was constructed where women from different parts of the village can gather, discuss, and participate in various self-help activities, meetings, and awareness drives. It stands as a symbol of empowerment, dialogue, and dignity for the women of Haripur Kalan.
Where there was once an empty, unused land — today stands a well-maintained, beautiful park. Sadhu Bella Puram Park offers a peaceful and green space for children to play, elders to walk, and families to gather. It has become a symbol of how small changes can bring a big shift in community well-being and lifestyle.
For years, villagers struggled with irregular and insufficient water supply. Under the leadership of Pradhan Geetanjali Jakhmola, a massive 8.5 lakh liter capacity tank was constructed to resolve this issue permanently. Today, clean and consistent drinking water reaches every home across Haripur Kalan and nearby areas — a fundamental need, finally fulfilled.
